INVITATION TO BID / NOTICE OF SALE

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 165 of COA Circular No. 92-386 dated October 22, 1992, there will be an AUCTION SALE (SEALED Bidding) on (February 26, 2024 @ 9:30 am) at the Office of the General Services, Municipal Hall of Paete, Laguna for the following properties (Municipal Vehicles):

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The above-mentioned items shall be sold to the highest bidder as determined herein below and the said articles may be inspected by the prospective bidders three (3) days before the date of sale, at the place where the articles are located.
  • Only bids equal to or higher than the floor price, as specified in this Notice of Sale, shall be considered by the committee.
  • Before commencing the bidding, all bidders shall be required to register their names together with the community tax certificate as well as their ID’s if any.
  • The envelope containing the bid should be sealed and plainly marked “BID FOR MOTOR VEHICLES”.
  • Bid tender shall be accepted before the actual sales and it shall be accompanied by cash deposit or cashier’s check in the name of the MUNICIPALITY OF PAETE equivalent to 10% of the amount of the bid, which deposits shall be returned to the losing bidders after the award is made.
  • In the case of tie-bids, a new sealed bidding shall immediately be conducted among the tied bidders until such time is broken.
  • The ten (10%) percent bid value deposited by the awardee shall be automatically converted into the partial payment and failure of the awardee to pay the balance of the amount of the bid right after signing of the Notice of Award will render the award null and void and the 10% deposited shall be forfeited in favor of the government.
  • Unless otherwise indicated, articles per IIRUP No. 23-001 shall be offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS” and the Municipality of Paete, Laguna shall not give warranty as to its conditions.
  • In the event of the highest bidder refuses to accept the award, the ten (10%) percent cash deposit shall be forfeited in favor of the government and the bid of the second highest bidder shall be immediately recognized and accepted.
  1. The Disposal Committee, at the same time the Awards Committee, reserves the right to reject any or All bids, or to accept such bids as maybe advantageous to the government.
